Poet Abiodun Oyewole says hip-hop artists 'must be catalysts for social change'
Abiodun Oyewole, born Charles Davis, is a poet, teacher, and one of the founding members of the spoken-word group The Last Poets. While he did not create hip hop, he is widely credited with helping set the tone for the genre and influencing its development through his pioneering work in rhythm, poetry, and performance.
